Here is what she plans to do:
I plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State and work toward my goal of being a Forensic Accountant. I also plan to go through the internship program and volunteer in a non-profit organization to help people with their taxes and other accounting needs. This will provide me with the practical experience I need to better comprehend how finances are managed and how to prevent financial malpractice. Once I have the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license, I want to pursue a job with a governmental agency to investigate fraudulent crimes by analyzing and detecting financial records and using accounting skills to interpret and communicate legal evidence in business accounts. After gaining some experience in the field I would like to start my forensic accounting firm where I would work for companies evaluating their financial departments to help them prevent embezzlement and other criminal activity. I also plan to continue volunteer work for people who need help with taxes and other personal finance issues.

Academic Achievements: James earned instant acceptance to both Texas State and Texas Tech Universities.  He also received a $4,000 annual distinguished scholarship from Texas State University based on his GPA and Test Scores.

Extra Curriculars: James has a wonderful passion for music.  He spent all 4 years of high school working tirelessly playing the Tuba in the nationally ranked Johnson Jaguar Band.  James also spent all 4 years in the Johnson choir program and even took a leadership position by serving on the choir council his junior year.

Service Work: James has also used his skills with technology and music to serve the Journey by running the sound, online stream, and lyric slide presentations.  He quickly mastered all the equipment in the back of the church and has saved the service for many a Sunday.

Here is what he plans to do:
James will be attending Texas State University this fall where he plans to major in Computer Science and earn a Minor in Music.  He also plans to participate in the Texas State University Marching band and join one of the on-campus choirs.
